My Family in Roatan, Honduras

I decided to start this travel blog while I was on a cruise in the spring of 2011.  One of the first nights on the cruise I was laying in bed feeling incredibly lucky.  I was thinking of how amazing it is that I will be able to see so many beautiful places in such a short amount of time.  Earlier that the day, I had looked over the different shore excursions my family and I were going to take and I was very excited for all of them.  I knew every day would have its own great stories and I wanted to be able to remember all of them so I would be able to match them up with my pictures.  This is when I began to type out what I did each day on my cell phone because I did not have my computer with me.  That quick personal daily log inspired me to continue writing and sharing my experiences with others.  Even now that I know I will be blogging about my trips, I rarely take my computer with me and I usually use my cell phone to write out rough posts while I am gone.  As time and technology progressed, I’ve been able to do more and more of my blogging straight from my phone.  I now write almost 100% of my blogs and take majority of photos with my cell phone, which is currently an HTC One, and that is why it is named The Cell Phone Travel Blog.

Thank you for reading my blog and I would really appreciate comments.  I’m always looking for new places to visit so if you have any suggestions please let me know.  Also, if you have been to any of the places I mention let me know how you felt about your time there, I love to hear about your experiences good or bad.  Feel free to follow me on Twitter as well!
